Player Robbery Rules:
You must interact with a player and a scene unfold a minimum of 30 seconds before robbing them.
The interaction must make sense in terms of a leadup to a robbery. Don't just talk about the weather and then rob.
Chain Robberies: The robberies cannot be less than 30 minutes apart per person. This includes robberies as part of a group/team (the entire group runs on the same timer). You CANNOT clear a player's bag (empty all items). The robber can only take 2 items and money (i.e. 1 stack) from the player (including groups looting as a robber). This is per victim of a group robbery.
On duty law and medical can only be robbed of 1 item and money.
You cannot require a player to "trade" or "give" you tools that could not otherwise be stolen, or force a player to access inventory/ledgers to loot.
Tools CANNOT be stolen.
Outfits cannot be stolen.
You CANNOT force a player to withdraw money from their bank.
You CANNOT kill someone and then rob their horse or wagon.
Any items can be stolen from the remaining horses and wagons left out.
You cannot rob the same player twice within two hours. In addition, you will not be able to follow anyone until this time expires.
You cannot rob a player you've killed or kill a player you've robbed (unless they offer physical resistance).
It is considered a robbery when you go into their pockets, whether they have anything you want or not.
You cannot rob a player you have just sold/bought something to/from until 1 hour real time has passed.
You cannot interact with a player who is in the shop, clothing or job menu. (It is your responsibility to know if they are in a menu or not.)
When tying someone up, you must untie/cut/loosen the ties before leaving. Do this by running /me to loosen the ropes and tell them that they might break as soon as you leave this location (victims cannot pursue or engage in combat in this case).
If you disengage for one minute, or both parties lose visual sight, you must reestablish the 30 seconds interaction.
If a county has issues with not being able to take items out of the bag, criminals may request two items and money from the victim's bag
Wedding rings and engagement rings cannot be stolen out of pockets due to personalization.
Lawmen that are on duty can be robbed if they are not:
On the way to a call and/or enroute to a scene.
In the middle of a scene. (The scene has already started.)
They have just finished at a scene with you.
Doctors/Veterinarians that are on duty can be robbed if they are not:
On the way to a call and/or enroute to a scene.
In the middle of a scene. (The scene has already started.)
They have just provided medical care for you (within the last 5 minutes).
